Finally got around to doing those Time Trials Kendrick's been telling me to do for months...
Not my best times, but it's a start...
Run: 29:05, 9:23/mi, 188 avg HR, 202 max HR
Swim:
4X100's: 1:52, 1:57, 1:57, 1:52 4X50's kick: 1:16, 1:16, 1:15, 1:16
2X200's: 3:56, 3:50
Bike:
29:27, 2:56/mi, 187 avg HR, 193 max HR
I'm finally starting to understand a bit of the science that goes into training (at least I think I am)... I figured TT's were for guys with big egos, but now realize TT's are a way to keep you working towards getting faster, more efficient, and responding to the changes your body makes to keep up with the demands of training... I'm actually excited (maybe I shouldn't say that) about developing new paces/zones for training, because it'll force me to work hard during my workouts... If I don't put in 100%, it'll show...
I'm actually looking forward to my long run tomorrow... Weird...
